We are sharing our fave lamps and lighting fixtures with The Nester's Lampapalooza Party at the Nesting Place!!

I don't think I own a lamp that was purchased new! Here are three of my favorites...

This vintage 50s lamp was purchased at an antique mall for around $35 (one of my big splurges...I am pretty frugal most of the time). I adore the jadeite green color with metallic gold splashes. This is our most used lamp in our loft area. Don't you just love these shades!!

This is an estate sale find for under $10. Double shade love!!

This one isn't vintage, but it is so stinkin' cute I had to have it. Yup, it's a lamp and it works (feather trim...yum!) Under $5 at a garage sale!

I have a variety of Vintage Paper Packs to fulfill your crafting desires!! Instead of throwing away damaged books destined for the landfill, these bits of paper are useful for a multitude of craft purposes from card making to collage and more.

What do you do with vintage tablecloths that have holes and stains?? Well, you repurpose them of course! My cutters have been crafted into cute fabric flower pins that you can attach to your t-shirt, purse, headband...wherever you desire!

Vintage Drawer Pulls have so many new purposes! Use them to snazz up a tired night table or use them in some creative assemblage pieces. These have really nice details and are sold in pairs.

With Spring just around the corner (okay, might be a little longer here in Canada) I always turn to thoughts of swirling white wedding gowns.

I have gone deep into the bonton*vintage storage and am slowly pulling out some wedding lovelies!!

The first of the bunch is a 1960s daisy lace gown. So pretty!!! Love the train! It is currently for offer on ebay for a terrific price.

My oh my....how did I manage to gather so many hats???

This is the second lot I will be selling and I still have a stack of hat boxes higher than my head in my storage room! Most of these came from the estate of a lady that realllyyyyy loved hats. I think I walked out of there with about 100 of them. After that I vowed never to buy a whole bunch of hats again...but somehow a few trickle into my home here and there.

In our house Halloween is a big deal! We already are shopping for all the finishing touches for our costumes, most is homemade and not a "costume in a bag" deal.

I have been a busy girl lately going through all my vintage trims and jewelry bits. My first little creation is ready and for sale in my etsy shop, awaiting a new wrist to adorn.

Here it is all pretty and romantic and sparkly in black and cream with some bling of course!!

There is nothing more rewarding than taking things that would normally be discarded and making something new! The lace had a former life as a vintage 1950's wedding dress bodice.

A little extra on this cuff is the pin that is removable, so you can wear it on the bracelet or remove to wear wherever you please! Hope you like it!!

Well, it is not quite BBQ season here with our huge Spring snowfall that surprised me this morning. It has me housebound for now, can't even get out of our neighborhood, hopefully not all day!!

Dug out this fab BBQ - Western themed tablecloth yesterday and decided to part with it. It is now awaiting a new home & will be leaving next week to the highest ebay bidder.

Doing the New Year's shuffle of links over the weekend and revisited this wonderful blog!! Chris Brown's Urban Prairie Refueled blog is a feast for the eyes!! A fellow collector of junque, Chris has such a way with his finds!! Absolutely love his Crack Heads doll calendar. I have a bunch of pics I snapped a few years ago of doll heads and body parts while at the Long Beach Flea Market!! Great minds think alike!
