Costa Rica Top Five

1. Riding the Zipline in Montezuma. What a great feeling to fly through the air! A must do event! This one was great with the longest cable running about 1,000 feet.

2. Snorkelling trip to Isla de Tortuga. A quick boat ride from Tambor, this trip had us spotting leatherback turtles and humpback whales while en route. Once there, you can snorkel off a tiny piece of land (hardly even an island). The kids saw a puffer fish and sting rays. The crew bbq'd us a fabulous mahi mahi lunch. Other highlights were the peccary named Philomena and baby howler monkey Kimba!

3. The Finca Rosa Blanca Country Inn. This amazing boutique hotel is set among the hills of Santa Barbara de Heredia just north of San Jose. The most unique place I have seen, filled with great art and all sorts of nooks and crannies to sit and read or just enjoy the scenery.

4. La Paz Waterfalls and Gardens. Butterflys, frogs, snakes, orchids, waterfalls!! Enjoy the stunning scenery as you walk down pathways and up and down stairs. Tons to see in the Cloud Forest!

5. The people! There was not a local Costa Rican that did not treat us well. What a super bunch of people.

99¢ SALE!!

Returning back to real life from my fabulous vacation I have come to realize I have too much stuff sitting in the stock room!! Thus, the 99¢ Sale is running right now!! Hope you can snag yourself some great bargoons at bonton*vintage on ebay

Also plugging away at getting the first of some great holiday party wear up for auction. Take a peek!

Stunning Casa Pacifico

The majority of our trip was in a spectacular private home we rented near the village of Tambor and right next to the resort where they filmed the reality show Temptation Island.

The 6 bedroom home was just gorgeous! Situated right on the ocean with rainforest on one side and another luxury home on the other. It was a great way to vacation and much more relaxing than staying at a hotel...highly recommended. If you are interested you can rent this home through Luxury Link.

Pura Vida in Costa Rica

Vintage clothing and general crazy mom life recently took a back seat as we trekked to Costa Rica.

What a trip!! The country was amazing full of stunning scenery and the friendliest, kindest people you could ever meet.

The first night was spent at the beautiful Marriott in the capital city of San Jose.

We enjoyed a delicious tapas dinner accompanied by Flamenco guitarists and dancers!

The next morning we met up with the rest of our friends and travelled to Tambor via Nature Air.

Jose picked us up at the tiny "airport" and drove us the bumpy road to Casa Pacifico. The house was absolutely stunning!!! Pics to come soon.
